Short version: we only ask for what we need to keep you in the loop. We don't sell your info. Ever.
What we collect
- Founding list: name, email, optional phone, optional referral source.
- Investor inquiries: name, email, phone, and anything you share in the message field.
- Donation page: we don't process donations directly on this site yet — when we add a payment processor, that processor (Stripe or similar) will collect payment details under their own terms.
- Basic logs: IP address and browser info, kept for security and abuse prevention.
How we use it
- To email you when membership opens, founding rates lock, or major build updates ship.
- To text you (only if you opted in) about the same.
- To follow up with potential investors directly.
- To improve the site and prevent spam.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your info to anyone.
- We don't share it with advertisers.
- We don't send marketing on behalf of third parties.
Where it's stored
Signups live in a private database on our hosting provider (Fly.io). Backups are encrypted. Only Evan and authorized team members have access.
Your rights
Email hello@cornerstoneclimbing.com at any time to:
- See what data we have on you
- Update or correct it
- Delete it entirely
Cookies
We use a session-only flag in your browser's sessionStorage to remember if you've closed the founding list popup. No tracking cookies. No third-party analytics yet.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, we'll update the date above and email anyone on the founding list before it takes effect.
